The 2023 Stark County Home & Garden Show will be April 21-22 at Hall of Fame Village’s brand new Center for Performance. It’s a good thing the digital age has taken over printing because we would run out of ink in trying to list everything associated with this year’s show.

Where to start?

New location – The 72 Stark County Home & Garden Show is moving to the brand new Hall of Fame Village in the Center for Performance. Our show will be nestled among the burgeoning stores and restaurants of the Village’s Fan Engagement Zone – featuring the newly opened Don Shula’s American Kitchen. We’ve purposely expanded our hours on Friday, April 21, to give attendees time to come down and see the show and then walk the Fan Engagement Zone to eat at Shula’s or get the grandkids something from Build A Bear. You’ll also be able to visit the Play Action Plaza to ride the Forward Pass Zip Line or Red Zone Ferris Wheel. This will definitely be a “destination show” where you can plan several activities together for everyone in the family.

Home professionals – Do you need a new roof, windows, or gutters? Are you thinking of a sunroom or that new, trendy wood-look ceramic tile for your floors? The Home & Garden Show has all that and more, including tradesmen, remodelers, suppliers, and experts in every aspect of home design, decoration, repair and remodeling. All elements of home construction and remodeling are well represented at the show. Most importantly, the pros are the most qualified and respected in the industry. Now is the time to get a jump on the projects you’ve been talking about! Whatever job you have in mind, we are sure to have a professional on hand to offer assistance.

720 Market – An eclectic, colorful, entertaining indoor market of makers, bakers, growers, brewers and artists teeming with variety and flair. The 720 Market is a feast for the eyes, ears and all other senses, allowing you to experience the Arts & Crafts movement in a way you can’t get from your mobile device! Over 50 artisans will be displaying wares ranging from beautiful home décor to tasty treats.

Landscaping – Are you thinking of sprucing up your yard? There will be five beautiful landscape displays that will inspire you to make it possible. These displays are created by certified design pros that are among the best in the area for creativity on a budget. Come out and see the colors and variety. All are one of a kind and sure to give you ideas for your property.

Speakers & presentations – Several horticulture and remodeling experts will be on hand to present helpful hints for your landscaping. Speakers include Jason Veil, curator for Seacrest Arboretum, discussing new and underused landscape plants; and Samantha Reilly from Stark Parks, discussing creating a backyard habitat. The 720 Market will also provide 720 Camp Creative, speakers and demonstrations that include a henna tattoo demo, cocktail class, cake pop workshop and exclusive make your own sessions.

Entertainment – Musical performers are scheduled each day of the show. On Friday, Morningstar will perform at noon; and Prime Trio will play at 6 p.m. On Saturday, Magnificent Goat Brothers will play at 10 a.m.; and Blue Lunch will play at 4 p.m. The Shootouts will playat1 p.m. Saturday.

Food trucks – Give Messdad’s, Uncle Bacon, Galaxy Grill, Pierogi Lady, Wholly Frijoles, Bereka Coffee, R&D Kettle Corn and Moonstone Coffee Works a try. Also available will be a Beer & Wine Garden in the Landscape section. If the weather cooperates, we hope to have an outdoor environment for eating and drinking as well.

Door prizes – Everyone has a very good chance of being a winner, with seemingly endless door prizes. One lucky attendee will win a $1,000 gift certificate to be used with one of the show vendors. We also have a 20-foot by 10-foot deck courtesy of Kidron Construction. Other door prizes include $100 gift certificates to Don Shula’s American Kitchen, Hall of Fame Village’s Forward Pass Zip Line rides and Red Zone Ferris Wheel rides, tickets to USFL football games, and albums and CDs by The Shootouts.
