Church of God Worship Center − 1014 Harrison Avenue SW. Noon Good Friday, April 7, "Seven Sayings on the Cross." Sponsored by the Interdenominational Ministerial Association of Stark County and Vicinity.

Mount Pleasant Methodist − 89 Canyon Road SW in Carrollton. Cantata at 9:45 a.m. Sunday, "The Cross of Christ," arranged by Cliff Duren. Directed by Mindy Domer, with pianist Judy Capper and organist Joanne Eshler.  Jay Stoneman will present a piano prelude.

St. Luke AME − 1050 E. Patterson St. in Alliance. Good Friday community service at 6 p.m.

St. Michael the Archangel Catholic − 3430 St. Michael Drive NW in Plain Township. Palm Sunday Masses at 4 p.m. today; and 8:30 a.m., 11 a.m. and 5:30 pm. Sunday. Holy Thursday Sacred Paschal Triduum begins with the Mass of the Lord’s Supper at 7 p.m. Good Friday of the Lord’s Passion services at 3 p.m., including reading of the Passion, Veneration of the Cross, and communion, and evening prayer at 7 p.m.; Holy Saturday Easter Vigil begins at 8 p.m., and will include lighting of the Paschal candle, scripture, baptisms and Eucharist; Easter Sunday Masses at 7:15 a.m., 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Services during Holy Week and Easter will be live-streamed on the parish's website, stmichaelcanton.org, and parish Facebook page.

Divine Mercy Sunday − Prayer service at 2 p.m. April 16 that includes reflections from St. Faustina, scripture readings, silent adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, and the praying of The Chaplet of Divine Mercy.

St. Paul AME − 1800 Tuscarawas St. E. Palm Sunday service 10:30 a.m. with guest speaker, Bishop Errenous J. McCloud; Easter Sunday service, 10:30 a.m. April 9

St. Stephen Martyr Lutheran − Maundy Thursday services at noon at the Louisville Campus, 930 S. Nickelplate St.; and 7 p.m. at the Belden Campus, 4600 Fulton Drive NW. On Good Friday, Louisville Ministerial Association Passion Walk at noon, starting at Umbrella Alley. On Easter Sunday at the Belden Campus, celebration services at 8 and 10:45 a.m., along with Gathering Service in the Family Life Center at 9:30 a.m. At the Louisville Campus, Easter celebration service at 10:30 a.m.

Trinity Baptist − 1211 E. Maple St. in North Canton. At 10 a.m. Palm Sunday, service with communion. Good Friday Tenebrae service at 7 p.m. Easter Egg Hunt at 1 p.m. April 8 for children ages 3 to 12, and includes door prizes for all ages and a visit from the Easter Bunny. Easter Resurrection Day Service at 10 a.m. April 9.

Youngstown diocese sets holy week services

Catholic Diocese of Youngstown plans services for Holy Week at St. Columba Cathedral, 154 W. Rayen St. in Youngstown.

Palm Sunday − Passion of the Lord Mass, 4 p.m. today; and 10:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Sunday; palms will be blessed and distributed at each Mass.

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday − Sacrament of Reconciliation at 1 p.m.

Holy Tuesday − Mass of Holy Chrism at 10:30 a.m., with Bishop David J. Bonnar as principal celebrant. Priests concelebrating in the sanctuary will include diocesan consultors and deans. During the Mass, diocesan and religious priests will renew their commitment to priestly service; along with consecration of the Sacred Chrism and blessing of the Oil of the Sick and the Oil of Catechumens. At the close of Mass, each pastor will receive Sacred Chrism and the other Holy Oils for use in their own parish. The Chrism Mass will be available via live stream at www.catholicecho.org/live. The Mass also will be televised at 8 p.m. Tuesday and noon Wednesday on Catholic TV Youngstown, and at 10 p.m. Thursday in Stark County. Holy Thursday − Evening Mass of the Lord’s Supper, 5:30 p.m. The Cathedral will remain open until 9:30 p.m. for adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. Security will be provided.

Good Friday − Passion of the Lord and Veneration of the Cross Service, 3 p.m. Activities include the annual collection for the Holy Land, which helps preserve the holy places of Christ’s homeland and helps the poor of every faith in the Holy Land.

Holy Saturday − Blessing of the Easter Food, 3 p.m. Easter Vigil starts at 8 p.m., with Bonnar presiding.

Easter Sunday – Masses at 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Cathedral Choir, under the direction of Ralph Holtzhauser, will sing at the 12:30 p.m. Mass. There will be no 4 p.m. Mass.
