Letter to the editor: Reelect Justin Richard for Massillon law director

On May 2, I urge Massillon voters to reelect Justin Richard for Massillon law director. He has earned the trust and respect of the Stark County sheriff, the Massillon F.O.P., and the East Central Ohio Building & Construction Trades Council, as evidenced by their endorsements.

In a job that requires both experience and leadership skills, Law Director Richard guides 10 staff professionals and manages the prosecution of more than 10,000 cases annually. Mr. Richard has over five years of prosecutorial experience, as well as 15 years of criminal courtroom experience.

In contrast, the other candidate, Antonia Carbone, has no meaningful experience as a prosecutor, nor has she ever managed a large staff.

This elected position is too important for on-the-job training.

Justin Richard is the perfect choice for Massillon law director.
