Tuesday meeting

ACTION: Swore in two new full-time patrol officers.

DISCUSSION: Full-time patrol officers David A. Roberts and Kayla E. Young were sworn in during the regular meeting. Roberts’s employment is effective April 22 and Young’s is effective April 29. The annual salary for each is $63,0478.

OTHER ACTION:

  • Accepted two donations to the Park Division: $75 from the Murphy’s Coffee Truck (Travelin Toms Coffee of Canton) and $75 from Teeg Family (Kona Ice).
  • Accepted conations to the 2023 Community Celebration as follows: $1,999 from Bair’s and $100 from T.R. Snyder Construction.
  • Accepted a retirement notice from firefighter Michael R Anderson, effective May 5.
  • Approved a forklift purchase for the highway division from Midwest Lift Truck at a cost of $34,091.
