Google took fans by storm with live demos on the latest Gemini AI features introduced at this month's Pixel hardware "Made by Google" event. But that's not the most significant announcement. We also got four new handsets equipped with the latest Tensor G4 chip and, you guessed it, all those fun AI features.
The latest devices in the Google Pixel universe are the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, the larger Pixel 9 Pro XL, and the second-gen foldable going by the name of Pixel 9 Pro Fold.
Since the latest Google Pixel phones start at $799 (Pixel 9, 128GB), and prices go as high as $1,799 for the base storage version on the foldable, it pays to get one during the pre-order campaign. How come? Well, there are awesome pre-order deals! Keep in mind that the pre-order campaign on the Pixel 9 and the Pixel 9 Pro XL is over.

Pixel 9 deals at online merchants
The Pixel 9 got a grand announcement last month. The handset promises blazing-fast processing power and endless Gemini AI capabilities in a compact form factor. It features a 6.3-inch screen and 12GB RAM, plus Tensor G4 under the hood. The non-Pro model can already be yours from Best Buy and Amazon.
Both sellers give you no Pixel 9 discounts at the time of writing. That said, you can save $100 with Activation at Best Buy ($35 activation fee required), or up to $400 off with Galaxy S24 trade-ins. You can also spare an old iPhone 14 in good condition for up to $290 off or trade in your Pixel 8 to save $285 on the newer model.

If you want a pro-grade camera in compact form, the Pixel 9 Pro could be the right choice. It has a 6.3-inch screen, just like the non-Pro model but sports a triple instead of a dual camera on its rear. This fella is also available for pre-order at major online merchants.
Initially, you could get the Pixel 9 Pro with a $200 Gift Card on Amazon. Best Buy had the same pre-order campaign, also letting you save up to $999 on the device with Galaxy S24+ and similar phone trade-ins. But those offers are no longer here, unfortunately.
The smaller-sized Pro model is still available for pre-order, though no discounts are offered at Amazon. Best Buy has also ended its gift card offer and lowered trade-in credits to a maximum of $440 with Galaxy S23 Ultra. iOS users can return their iPhone 14 Pro, provided all is well with it, to save $430 on the Pixel 9 Pro. Those aren't the only eligible phones, so do keep that in mind.

Want more screen real estate besides a triple rear camera? The Pixel 9 Pro XL could prove ideal. This device, just like the non-Pro Pixel 9, is available for purchase at Amazon and Best Buy. Amazon offers no deals at the time of writing, while Best Buy only lets you save with immediate activation or trade-ins.
Keep in mind that trade-in credits at the merchant are no longer identical to what we saw during the pre-order campaign. Right now, for instance, you can save up to $600 with a Galaxy S24 Ultra trade-in, score a maximum of $520 off with an iPhone 14 Pro Max, or spare your Galaxy S23+ in good condition for up to $310 off your new Google Pixel phone.

The latest foldable from Google, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, introduces a massive 8-inch inner display with incredible brightness levels. As you can probably expect, you can already pre-order the big foldable phone online, with shipping set to begin on September 4, 2024.
At the time of writing, the device is available with a $350 Gift Card at Best Buy. With eligible trade-ins, you can save up to $460 off its MSRP of $1,799. To get the maximum discount, you need to trade-in a Galaxy Z Fold 5. You can also spare your old Pixel Fold, provided it's in good condition, for $60 off. There's also an option to spare a Galaxy Z Fold 4 for a trade-in bonus of $315 on the Pixel 9 Pro Fold.
Amazon has a similar discount going on, giving you the Pixel 9 Pro Fold with a $350 Gift Card. This seller's offer is set to continue until September 7 at 11:59 PM PT.
