15pro max

Phone owned for more than a year

Charging Tortoise Mode: The iPhone 15 Pro Max charges at the speed of a sloth on a leisurely stroll. You plug it in, and then you wait. And wait. And wait some more. By the time it’s fully charged, you’ve aged a year. Forget about quick top-ups; this phone laughs in the face of urgency.
Color Boredom: Apple’s color choices for the 15 Pro Max are as exciting as watching paint dry. Silver, space gray, and gold—yawn! Where’s the neon green? The cosmic purple? The unicorn sparkle? Nope, just the same old hues that your grandma’s rotary phone had. Revolutionary, right?
Customization? Nah.: iOS 17 might have added a sprinkle of customization, but it’s like giving a caged bird a slightly bigger cage. You can rearrange icons, change wallpapers, and… well, that’s about it. Want widgets? Too bad! Want to theme your entire phone? Dream on! Apple’s motto: “Uniformity is bliss.”
The Enigma Button: Ah, the mysterious “Action” button! What does it do? One thing. Just one. Press it, and it opens the calculator. That’s it. No shortcuts, no magic spells, no secret passages to Narnia. It’s like having a Swiss Army knife with only the toothpick—you know it’s there, but it’s not exactly saving the day.
Price Tag: Ouch!: The iPhone 15 Pro Max costs more than a small moon. Seriously, you could buy a decent used car for the same price. But hey, at least the car won’t judge you for taking too many selfies. The starting price feels like a down payment on a unicorn stable.
In summary, the iPhone 15 Pro Max is a paradox: a beautifully crafted device that simultaneously frustrates and dazzles. If you’re willing to overlook its quirks, it’ll serve you well. Just don’t expect it to charge faster than a snail on vacation.

Best iPhone yet. That's always the case.

Phone owned for less than a year

Just like every year, the iPhone keeps getting better and better, despite what the juvenile delinquents who visit this page may think. So, I'll keep singing their praises while bitter Android users are still hiding in their parents basements.

IPhones are for children and senior citizens!

Phone owned for less than a year

Everything is locked down it feels like apple has control.too much control, not enough customization.
Only apps that Apple approve of. Really handicaps any iOS device. You can't multitask no split screen. Very limited use of a big display. It's extremely hot. An apple always handicaps and slows down phones after their year old with iOS updates

absolute disaster

Phone owned for less than a year

Apple is bad. I just realized this. I went to I fix it to get a screen repair after I dropped my phone without a case (bad idea). The screen had a crack running diagonally from the top left-hand corner for around an inch towards the dynamic island and was thus in a really inconvenient place to have one. When I got my phone back, I got a flurry of messages informing me that the screen I had was non genuine, and I later found out that true tone and face id had been disabled. I went back to I fixit to inform them that they seemed to have installed a part that was not made by apple, and that some functions of my device had vanished. The person at the desk in I fixit told me that apple software locks parts to their phones to stop people repairing their own devices. I asked the clerk if Google or Samsung did the same things. He told me they did for biometric parts but posted the free calibration software on their websites to make it possible to swap out components without disabling functions. I wonder how many other people experience this issue with their device, and how many parts apple pairs to their phones. One thing is for certain though, and that is that I will never be buying from apple again. Well done apple, you lost a loyal customer of over 15 years because of your schemes.

15 Pro Max is Excellent for Ham Radio Operator and SKYWARN Spotter!!

Phone owned for less than a year

I got the phone on 9/2023 and a second one with 512 GB on Verizon in May of 2024. The Battery Life on Usage and Stand By time is awesome. I have over 95% left at days end especially on the Verizon Service! The screen is bright and vibrant and has many settings to suit my taste. Touch response is excellent even with a Glass Screen Protector, Tech-Armor Ballistic Glass.

I wish the battery would be quicker to charge even with a 20 or 30 Watt charger uses and the Optimized Charging feature enabled. The phone is cool to the touch even with moderate usage, I did not experience the overheating issue at all since activation. I am delighted with the 6.7" screen to body ratio plus the phone being under 8 Oz.

I have yet to use the camera that much. I took a few close photos and they look great! I like the 24 MP setting on my photos. The UI is excellent and the menu for setting and such are laid out well. As of 5/20/2024, I updated to iOS 17.5.1 and it seems to be stable plus eliminated the typing bug as of 2/24/2024.

I am a Ham Radio operator and a Weather Spotter in NJ. Excellent tool for both plus my CERT Team. I opted to get an Apple Silicone Case which compliments the phone plus it assists in it not sliding out of my pocket easily. I am thinking a 17.5.2 May come this week (6/16/2024).
