Ok phone
Phone owned for more than a year

The phone is quick and snappy and has a beautiful display but the battery is not very good and drains quickly especially in standby. The water resistant desgin is nice to have just in case of an accident

Form over function design makes this phone a pain to live with.
Phone owned for more than a year

This phone is spectacular in all of the technical aspects - great screen, great camera, fast and responsive, never crashes, etc - but Samsung whiffed everything else in pursuit of form over function and it's an absolute pain in the ass to live with.

The screen is just curved enough to not work well with glass protectors, so I didn't use one and now my screen is scratched up.

The battery life is terrible. It was mediocre even new and 12 months of degradation later it's on fumes by two hours of screen time. The phone is glued shut, so replacing a $20 battery is a $100 professional job.

The battery is so weak to begin with because they went all out to make the phone thin, but then they made the entire thing out of fragile, slippery glass so it essentially can't be used without a case.

Next time I'm buying a Pixel.
